Freezing Soups The Easy Way

Winter soups, stews, chili and other easy comfort foods are most commonly found today in cans. Freezing is another option, particularly for those who harvest a big garden or stock up when there’s harvest happening.

Here’s an easy way to freeze and store so you can heat and eat, whether for a crowd or individual portions. Remember to cool the food (so as to not compromise the plastic bags) and label the bags with what you’re putting in them and the date.
